How-To: Replicate Brand/Competitors Ads for Free
How to Replicate Competitor’s Ads in under 3 minutes
If there’s a particular brand or company whose ads you like, go to Facebook Ads Library and search for that company name in the search bar.
How to Use the Meta Ad Library:
a. Access the Library: Navigate to facebook.com/ads/library.
b. Select Your Country: Choose your desired location from the dropdown menu.
c. Choose an Ad Category: Options include "All Ads," "Issues, Elections or Politics," among others.
d. Search for Ads: Enter keywords, advertiser names, or topics into the search bar.
e. Apply Filters: Refine your search by language, platform (Facebook, Instagram), media type (image, video), active status (active or inactive), and date range.
Find any of the ads that you like and take a screenshot of them
Take a screenshot of your product or service without any copy on it
Go to ChatGPT (make sure you are using the 4o model).
Upload the image of the brand’s ad, then upload your product as well.
Tell it to recreate the ad for you using your product. Use this prompt: “Can you recreate this ad using [insert your product name or service] instead?
I’m looking to use it as a mock-up for brainstorming and idea generation.
Please generate the image based on this request.”Once you’ve got your desired ad image, you can then download and test it on whatever platform you are running ads.
